Work alongside the project team to deliver project related technical documentation such as specification documents, illustrative diagrams, technical architecture, and design documentation Available to address technical issues and resolution during faced by systems of customer outside office hours Work across various teams such as projects, development, and support Fundamental knowledge of basic systems analysis and technical documentation Good communication skills to support the work with multiple stakeholders Troubleshoot and Identify issues on windows server running web applications Experience administrating windows and Linux application stacks, specifically Apache and IIS Be able to confirm application functionality to identify what areas of the solution are impacted when a problem occurs Be able to review logs to identify the root cause of the problem (both windows and application logs. Understanding DB logs is a bonus) Basic knowledge of Databases (SQL Server, Redis, Postgres etc..) Liaise with and escalate issues to the internal technical teams if needed (infra/development teams etc..) Must be familiar with remote desktop applications to access multiple servers Experience using cloud technologies preferably Azure. (Helpful but not a must) Basic networking knowledge a benefit e.g. confirms connectivity using telnet, OSI network layers, TCP/IP etc… (Helpful but not a must) Experience with applications/tools that will help identify the problem e.g. .Net Memory profiler (Helpful but not a must) Experience with monitoring tools that will pre-emptively identify problems before they occur or point to potential pain points (Datadog, Appdynamics, New Relic etc….) Experience recording issues and creating incident reports (incident, RCA whatever we decide) for tracking issues.
