Study the entire project documents, drawings, specifications & conditions of contract. and Authorities: • Contracts engineer scope understand contractual requirements such as Insurances, obligations and responsibilities. • Draft out all contractual correspondences to the client & subcontractors. • Over see, Supervise & ensure accurate quantity take-off as necessary for the Project. • Review material submittals / shop drawing submittals / etc. and identify any changes / potential variations in coordination with Technical Engineers. • Notification of Extra works / Claims / Variations etc. • Change Management, including quantification of all changes / variations / extra works and timely submittal for management approval and eventually for Client/Consultant approvals. • Ensure preparation & timely submission / agreeing of Main Contract Billing & sub-contract payment certificates. • Ensure compliance of Contractual project requirements such as timely notifications & communications with client & subcontractors including preparation of delay notifications to subcontractors. • Maintain adequate site data and record of measurements / quantities of works in progress. '. • Ensure all deliverable are obtained from Subcontractors. • Review and assist Contract Engineer in preparation of cost and time claims. • Timely preparation of reports / variation logs / EOT logs etc. and submission to Head Office. • To be under contracts engineer scope ensure timely entry of Subcontract & Main Contract Payment Certificates in ERP. • Any other work or duty assigned to him by the Project Manager. Authority (restricted) • To deal with consultants, client representatives, sub-contractors etc. on all commercial related matter of the project, after obtaining necessary management approval as per company procedures in coordination with the Contracts Manager
