Responsibilities • Lead the development of Global Data rules and quality metrics in partnership Data Stewards, Data SMEs, and client and stakeholder groups across GMI for existing and new data sets • Own processes for monitoring and reporting Governance compliance • Create high-level Data Quality Data Governance Framework Health reports for Senior Leadership for Master Data and Enterprise Critical Domains • Partner with Master Data Process Owners, Data Stewards and Data SMEs to operationalize, monitor, and evolve Data Quality processes, metrics and KPIs • Become company experts in using, advancing and educating others on Data Governance tools like Concerto/Alation, Information Steward, and other solutions as appropriate • Evaluate and recommend changes to Global Data Quality tools and processes to enable a sustainable and measurable governance practice • Educate and mentor Data Owners, Data Stewards and Data SMEs across GBS and the business to ensure the sustainability of Data Governance Stewardship practices at GMI • Required Skills/Experience • Proven experience with Data Cataloging, Data Quality and Data Management tools, such as Alation, Concerto, Information Steward, SAP or other MDM solutions • Experience in managing and delivering medium-large projects or programs • Data-driven, detail-oriented work style that can be persistent in driving towards finding • Curious and willing to ask challenging questions when not necessarily a subject matter expert • Analytical mindset with the ability to grasp complex data sets and to identify patterns or critical data elements • Ability to visualize and create reports that tell the story behind the quality of the data and be able to effectively share the message with leadership Desired Candidate 1-Experience with SAP Master Data Domains 2-Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance strategies and processes 3-Database development or query-building experience
