Responsibilities: • Manage Tidal Enterprise Scheduler system and its defined batch process on daily basis. • JAWs reporting and support • Provide 24/7/52 Support for and ensure the successful flow of the daily scheduled batch environment. • Monitor the work queue to ensure all work gets done according to standards and defined service levels. • Be part of planning, development and testing of new releases and builds on Tidal system • Develop, demonstrate and maintain technology expertise through innovation, improvement, implementation and problem resolution. • Work closely with IS technical support, developers, operations staff, and business users and their support staff. Provide technical assistance to streamline their processes and make them more effective and efficient. • Tie together the various technical infrastructure protocols so that data hand offs and software functions flow seamlessly through the data center. • Continue to automate and manage the various cause and effect actions involved in managing the batch process. • Advise business users toward most appropriate technical solutions for their batch processes. Qualifications: • Experience with Enterprise IS Batch Scheduling system: CISCO Tidal Enterprise Scheduler preferred. • General understanding of business process and ability to interpret customer needs. • Proven ability to manage multiple IS tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately. • Experience with any of the following a plus: SAP, Oracle DB, SQL, Windows OS/Security and Linux/UNIX commands/security/OS. • Strong customer service skills. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and complex workload. • Ability to work in pressure situations.
