Technical Sales and Support Engineer

Essential Duties
• Efficiently answer and solve customer technical inquiries regarding our products and troubleshoot via telephone, email and onsite
• Generate high-quality sales leads and follow up after the initial meeting
• Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management
• Serve as the primary technical interface with respect to support of system integration & installation, troubleshooting and assisting in the repair return process
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited university, or equivalent technical degree combined with minimum 5 years of technical product development/technical support activities and experience in a customer support environment
• 5+ years experience required, preferably with exposure to UPS, battery, starter/generator and power distribution/inverter/converter systems
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Previous sales experience is a plus
