Handling day to day Logistic activities to ensure all orders are despatched properly in a timely manner. Assisting and coordinating the dispatch of inbound and outbound shipments, clearing of local customs formalities. Preparing and maintaining logistics-related documents. Preparing reports as requested by the line manager. Coordinating with the shipping and transport companies to ensure the vehicle arrivals and despatch are on time. Posting entries in the VMS system for all logistics activities. Coordinating with other departments like commercial, sales, production, and security to ensure proper incoming and outgoing of loaded vehicles from the company premises. Arranging and supervising the inspection and pest control activities. Coordinate with the accounts department to arrange customs duty payment to the port and customs authority, for shipments involving duty payments. Covering customs work in absence of the customs PRO. Ensuring the necessary customs and port documents clearance for vessel arrival and departure. Updating and tracking all logistics planning and movements and updating it on regular basis in the reports and in the VMS system. Ensuring all logistics activities are in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation. Resolve any legal issues pertaining to transportation/distribution. Follow up with drivers for all despatches like local/GCC/Export shipments. Maintain updated daily trip reports. Complying the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 standards and maintain records. Following and promoting health and safety regulation defined by the company.
