Procurement • Support the operating divisions through individual project planning processes. • Negotiate vendor pricing agreements and large one-time purchases. • Develop and maintain vendor relationship, which will mirror and grow with the company’s objectives. • Train, develop, and mentor buyers aligned with business needs. • Work with divisions to develop payment terms and blanket agreements. • Comply with corporate requirements to ensure company’s standards of quality control and employee safety. • Strategically align department to reflect the goals and company structure. • Develop and present, on an annual basis, a detailed budget of department operating expenses • Oversee division-related project cost concerns through the designated buyer, discussing and jointly resolving any issues with the Division Manager. • Coordinate purchasing policies/procedures with division needs in an ongoing effort to identify, establish, and implement policies and procedures which reflect the company’s goals. • Make employee-related decisions within the department with respect to hiring, termination, and performance reviews. • Participate in various groups established to enhance the productivity and quality of service within and outside the organization. Warehouse • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. • Complies with Saudi regulations warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
