Job Description

 Foxes Academy is an Ofsted outstanding specialist college for young adults with learning disabilities (18-25 years old). We offer training in independent life skills, plus the opportunity to learn catering skills in Foxes Hotel. The happiness, well-being and success of our learners is at the centre of everything we do. The main purpose of the role: As one of our Learning Support Practitioners your role will be to assist our students in our residential houses and at Foxes Hotel, to help achieve our mission which is to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and to live independently Key Duties: Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required. For the full job description and break down of duties, please contact Adele from the recruitment team

Successful candidate qualities:

  • Experience in a similar role desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Experience in supporting in the care or education industry
  • Desirable an understanding of working with people with a disability
  • Level 2 in English and Maths
  • Desirable Level 3 qualification in education or care
